Embarking on a dual-track journey
Preparing for both Gaokao and overseas exams at the same time. | 2024-2026
Preparing for both the Chinese Gaokao and SAT/AP exams at the same time is no easy feat. Because my high school is a traditional Chinese high school and doesn’t offer formal AP or SAT courses, I had to build my own study framework and optimize my nights and weekends to master AP concepts. Balancing the intense pressure of the Gaokao with SAT and AP preparation was an immense challenge, but it helped me gain the ability to manage time efficiently and develop strong self-discipline.
Serving as a class president at school
Leading and managing class affairs. | 2024-2026
I serve as class president at high school. I still remember the first time I stood at the platform, facing the whole class, and I realized the difficulty of being an class president. With the help of my teachers and classmates, I gradually learned how to cope with class affairs like giving speeches, organizing activities, and mediating conflicts. It’s really a great experience for me to learn how to become a good leader and how to express my idea effectively.
Learning coding by meself
Java & Arduino C/C++ | 2025-2026
I am teaching myself coding Java for the 2026 AP computer science A exam, and Arduino C/C++ for my own projects. I have learned the basic syntax of Java and Arduino C/C++, and I have also learned how to use the Arduino IDE to write and upload code to the Arduino board. Check it out-> Java, Arduino C/C++
Voluntary work
serving the community as a volunteer | 2026
I assisted community staff in carrying out public welfare science promotion for the “3`15 International Consumer Rights Day”, and educated community residents on the selection and safe use of food-related products.
